Some descriptive words for the Winter seasonal palette are true, blue, vivid, sharp, clear and icy.
If this sounds like your coloring, you can double check here. Or to start from the very beginning to determine your personal color palette, refer to this post which includes a handy flowchart to eliminate guessing!

So, what should you wear if you’re a Winter? I’ve put together this sample capsule wardrobe for colder weather and Winter coloring. This is only a sample, so please feel free to use this as a guideline and change up the pieces to fit your individual taste and coloring. No matter what the color is, if it makes you feel great, wear it!
- Black Blazer
- Gray Skirt
- Black Pants
- Red Dress
- Gray Shirt
- Purple/White/Black Print Top
- White Dressy Top
- Magenta Cardigan
- Black Cocktail Dress
- Navy Casual Pants
- Red Top
- Black Coat
Of course, this is just a few of the outfits you can create with these pieces, the blazer and the cardigan can also be interchanged and of course the big warm coat can be worn with all of the outfits as outerwear. I’m calling this the Winter Palette Wardrobe Capsule version 1.0 because hopefully it’s the first of many. And capsules for Springs and Autumns are coming soon!
Stay tuned because the Spring Palette Capsule is next!
