My 5th Stitch Fix package arrived on the day we came home from Disneyland which was awesome, but slightly overwhelming as we had just gotten the call that our offer was excepted on a new home and we had to rush to get ours ready to sell as soon as possible too! So, as you can imagine, these pictures were taken as quickly as possible in between packing, painting and cleaning!
Without further delay, let’s look at what was in my lovely July Stitch Fix!This was yet another fix which was near impossible to decide what to keep. I’m pretty sure at this point that they do this on purpose. 😉
The first item is this Ellee Basketweave Dress by Gilli. I absolutely love the color of this dress! And the is super soft and stretchy.
It’s not bad… but it’s not that great either. I think it looked better on the hanger to be honest. And as it cost $64, I didn’t keep it.
Next, we have the Vina Stone Tassel Pendant from Bay to Baubles. I was really excited about this one because it’s turquoise and coral! Love that color combo.
And okay, it actually looks pretty cute in this pic, but let me tell you, it was not easy to get a good shot of me wearing it because it lays at a very awkward angle. I ended up sending this one back too because of that, and the plastic-y feel of the stones.
The third item in my fix is the Sonja Boyfriend Jean by Mavi. I have to admit, I love these cropped jeans. They fit well and are super comfy.
Item number four is the Coosada Cowl Neck Knit Top from Mystree. I absolutely love this top!
Here’s me wearing both the Mavi Sonja Boyfriend Jean and the Mystree Coosada Cowl Neck Knit Top. I’m probably going to deeply regret that I sent them both back. At $88, I just couldn’t justify keeping the jeans at this point in time though. And while the top was only $38, it would have been a definite keeper if it were only a different color. Sigh…
Last but not least, we have the Lexis Knit Top by Papermoon. This is the perfect summer top! So light and airy. Dreamily breezy to wear when it’s too hot to actually put clothes on.
Yes, I kept it! Here I paired it with the Mavi Sonja Boyfriend Jean again but I actually wore it that day with cutoff shorts. Like I said, perfect summer top. And for only $28, it was a steal after my $20 styling fee credit!
If you’re unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, let me fill you in on a few more details. If you love new clothes, but have no time to shop, or just love the idea of getting personal-stylist-selected clothes and accessories sent right to your door; you need to sign up! All you have to do is answer a few questions to create your online style profile. Then you can arrange for your first fix to be delivered whenever you’d like. For a $20 styling fee, you will be matched with a personal stylist who will review your fashion preferences and hand-select 5 items just for you. The clothes are shipped direct to your door for free so you can try them on in your own home, at your own convenience. Then you simply keep the items you love, check out online, and return the items you don’t love in the pre-paid shipping envelope that is included in your package.
The best part is that you automatically have a $20 credit (from your styling fee) when you decide to keep any of your pieces and if you choose to keep every item in your fix, you will automatically save 25% on your entire purchase. You can also choose how often you would like to receive your fixes. I chose once a month but you can also receive one every 2-3 weeks, every other month or every 3 months. And you can change or reschedule at any time too.
If you’re not already a customer, I would really appreciate it if you considered signing up for Stitch Fix with my referral link because I do receive a small percentage whenever someone chooses to sign up using my link.
